HOW WE RUN THIS

Settlement Standards You Can Check

Official Source Data We pull results directly from league and official statistical feeds — NFL game-center, NBA stats API, and MLB official scoring. No manual input; settlement triggers automatically when the data confirms.
Push and Void Policy A push returns your full stake with no deduction. A void — typically caused by a postponed game or a market pulled before tip-off — also returns stakes in full and removes the leg from any parlay.
Parlay Leg Grading Order Same-game parlay legs are graded in the order the underlying stats are confirmed. If one leg voids due to player withdrawal before tip-off, the parlay recalculates minus that leg at the original prices.
Dispute Resolution Timeline Settlement disputes are logged and reviewed against the source feed. We aim to respond within one business day; complex stat-revision cases may take longer while we wait on the official record.

How Wagerus Grades Every Ticket

Settlement on wagerus runs off official league and statistical sources — NFL game-center data for football, NBA box scores for basketball, and MLB official scoring for baseball. Moneyline bets settle as soon as the final score is confirmed. Point spread and totals markets follow the same clock, grading within minutes of the game going final. Player props — rushing yards, strikeouts, points

scored — settle against the stat that appears in the official play-by-play. Same-game parlays lock once every leg of the ticket is graded. If a stat is revised after initial settlement, we reserve the right to re-grade and adjust your account accordingly. Availability depends on state law and eligible states.

Sportsbook Settlement Glossary

01
What does 'push' mean in sports betting?

A push occurs when the final margin lands exactly on the spread or total. Your stake returns in full, and the bet is neither a win nor a loss on your account.

02
What is a 'void' bet?

A void means the bet is canceled and your stake is refunded. Common causes include a postponed game, a market suspended before it went live, or a player listed who did not participate.

03
What does 'action' mean on a player prop?

Action means the bet stands regardless of lineup changes. If the market is listed as 'action,' your wager grades on the official stat even if the player's role changes during the game.

04
What is 'settlement pending' status?

Settlement pending means the result data has not yet been received or confirmed by the official feed. The ticket will grade automatically once the final stat or score is locked in.

05
What does 'no action' mean on a live bet?

No action on a live bet means the market was voided mid-game, typically due to a technical interruption or a result that arrived before the market could process it. Stake returns in full.

06
What is 'alternate spread' settlement?

An alternate spread is a modified point spread available alongside the main line. Settlement follows the same logic — if the margin beats your chosen alternate number, the bet wins at the posted price.

Bet Settlement Questions Answered

Most NFL moneyline and spread bets settle within minutes of the final score being confirmed by the official feed. Player prop bets may take a little longer if the box score needs review or a stat correction is pending.

If a leg in your same-game parlay is voided — for example, a player prop where the athlete did not play — that leg is removed and the parlay recalculates using the remaining legs and their original prices.

Yes. If a game is officially postponed and not played within the window stated in our rules, the bet is voided and your full stake is returned to your account wallet. Rescheduled games do not automatically carry the original bet.

For NFL and NBA bets, overtime is included in the final result unless the market was specifically listed as 'regulation only.' MLB bets on run lines and totals use the full innings played, including extra innings.

If a stat revision changes the outcome of a bet, wagerus re-grades the ticket using the updated official record and adjusts your account. You can view any re-graded tickets in your bet history with a note explaining the change.

Yes. Open a dispute through live chat or email support, include your bet ID and the result you're questioning, and our team reviews the settlement against the source feed. We document every case and respond with a clear outcome.
